The San Diego Symphony is seeking creative, driven, and responsible individuals to participate in their High School Ambassadors program this summer. This is a six-week learning initiative for high school music students ages 15 and up, and includes job shadowing opportunities with the staff of the Symphony, personal and professional development workshops at Jacob’s Music Center, work assignments, and a stipend. Participants work as ambassadors for the San Diego Symphony at the Bayside Summer Nights concerts on Fridays, and are supported in serving as promotional ambassadors for the organization within the community through an individual capstone project. The weekly program takes place from 12:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on the following Friday dates: July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2, August 9, and August 16.
Applications will be accepted online through April 1st, 2019. Following the application is a personal interview. Not all candidates will be accepted.
