Kaibigang Pilipin@'s 28th Annual High School Conference

Kaibigang Pilipin@'s 28th Annual High School Conference is a fully funded all-day event for historically underrepresented and underserved high school students in San Diego to join UCSD college students to learn more about higher education. The conference on February 2 enables high school students to navigate resources that SPACES/SIAPS/KP provides. The day consists of informative/fun workshops, alternative tours, inspirational keynote speakers, a talent show, a dance, free food, and more!

The theme for this year's conference is "The Hero Within" which finds its inspiration from the film Big Hero 6. Hiro’s story might parallel that of a high school student trying to pursue college. The path and transition to higher education is often filled with adversity, but we hope to empower students to recognize their support systems to help them pave their way to higher education.
