As members of CalRTA we continue to show our support for California’s youth and current teachers by sponsoring scholarships and teacher grants. Year after year — at both the state and Division levels — CalRTA provides this financial support. Last year, CalRTA awarded nearly $600,000. In addition, the Laura E. Settle Scholarship Foundation, named after CalRTA’s founder, has bestowed millions of dollars in scholarships to California’s future teachers since it was created more than 50 years ago.
