About
The purpose of the Student Ambassador program is to bring information on scams and frauds to the entry-level consumer. With high disposable incomes, young consumers are easy targets for scam artists. The Student Ambassador program is designed to train students to deliver this information to peer groups on campus. Student Ambassadors will receive two hours of training on the educational information that they will be asked to share. They will then have the opportunity to develop and deliver their presentation to a small peer group. The more peers you present to, the higher your chances of winning one of three scholarships (1st place: $2,500, 2nd place: $1,500, or 3rd place: $1,000)! At the completion of the program, all Student Ambassadors will receive a certificate.
Rules
- Each ambassador is responsible for scheduling a minimum of three (3) presentations: one per month from March-May.
- You may present to groups of all sizes. However, if you have more than 30 students, let us know so we can help you.
