CyberSecurity Workshops for High School
Students
“Cryptography and
Security”
Students will
learn the process of protecting information by transforming it (encrypting it)
into a unreadable format & then retransforming it to text. Cryptography is
a key technology for achieving information security in communications, computer
systems, electronic commerce, and more. This workshop will provide students
with a hands-on experience to better understand Cryptography and Security in
networks, systems and information.
The objectives of USD’s Cybersecurity workshops are to
teach important cybersecurity principals and inspire a new generation of
college bound students into the emerging and critical cyber security
field.
