The Pro Football Hall of
Fame has teamed up with its valued partner the U.S. Army for the past six years
to offer the Award for Excellence to high school students around the nation who
excel in academics, community service, and athletics.
The Award for Excellence
program, open to all sophomores, juniors and seniors, is truly a unique
opportunity. In the spring, 25 finalists will be recognized by a Pro Football
Hall of Famer and U.S. Army Soldiers during a formal ceremony at his or her
school. Then in August, the 25 finalists, along with a guest, will travel to
Canton, Ohio for the 2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week Powered
by Johnson Controls. The finalists and their guest will enjoy a fun weekend of
Enshrinement activities and the Award for Excellence winner will be announced.
