ELIGIBILITY
Scholarships are open to all graduating high school students in San Diego County. The Scholarship Committee is seeking students who can demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in the building industry. Many majors play an integral role in the building industry, such as advertising, business, finance, construction management, architecture, engineering, carpentry, city planning, real estate, and interior design, to name a few.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to students who demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in the building industry. Scholarships are also awarded based on other qualifications, including academics, personal achievement, and financial need.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Applicants must complete the application and return it to the BIA Cares Scholarship Committee at the Building Industry Association, 9201 Spectrum Center Boulevard, Suite 110, San Diego, CA 92123, by F rida y May 31, 2019. Please submit a copy of your transcripts (official or unofficial acceptable) together with the application.
