The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation

The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation is looking for 150 incredible high school seniors from across the country to join their 30th class of Coca-Cola Scholars. Students who are selected as Coca-Cola Scholars will receive a $20,000 scholarship to the college of their choice and will be welcomed into a community of nearly 6,000 program alumni who have a shared desire to bring better to the world.

Students may apply on the Foundation’s website, http://www.coca-colascholarsfoundation.org/ now through October 31 at 5 p.m. Eastern. Applicants must be high school seniors with at least at 3.0 GPA, and full eligibility requirements are available on the website.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 29th class in 2017, the Foundation has provided over 5,850 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $63 million in educational support.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, a joint effort of Coca-Cola bottlers across America and The Coca-Cola Company, is one of the largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship programs of its kind in the United States. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation was established in 1986 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Coca-Cola and to establish a legacy for the education of tomorrow’s leaders through college scholarships. The Coca-Cola system believes that investing in students who are leaders, both academically and in service to others, will result in positive, lasting change and sustainable communities.

The 150 students selected will travel to Atlanta, the international headquarters of The Coca-Cola Company, for Scholars Weekend on April 19-22, 2018. During the four-day weekend, the Scholars will participate in a Leadership Development Institute to further enhance their leadership skills, tour local landmarks, engage with former CocaCola Scholars, and participate in a group community service project. The 2018 Class of Coca-Cola Scholars will also be the guests of honor at the 30th annual Scholars Banquet, where they will be celebrated by representatives from the Coca-Cola system, educators, local dignitaries, and friends of the Scholars Foundation.
